What I'm planning to buy for Xbox 360 the rest of the year

Ace Combat 6 - After the awesome immersive modern world of war that I have experienced with Call of Duty 4 I can't wait to get into Ace Combat and have fun blazing around the skies shooting down craft... this is one type of game I haven't played since I was younger - I'm REALLY looking forward to this one.

Assassins Creed - This one has sort of snuck up on me, I haven't really paid much notice to it at all because I didn't think I'd have a console to play it on any time soon... that said I'm highly impressed by the combat and the immersive world... once again, I'm anticipating this one highly.

Mass Effect - I've been fobbing this one off a bit because I really haven't found myself overly interested in RPG's lately - I haven't been able to keep myself interested, though I was obsessed with the two KOTOR games on Xbox for a while back in the day.  So I'm hoping that this game follows a similar path as those - I will wait for reviews but I think this will also be a purchase.

Naruto Rise of the Ninja - I'm a big Naruto fan, and I just heard that this game runs from Episode 1 - 138, once the Japanese voice tracks become available to download on XBLM I'll buy the game and play through it - it sounds quite enjoyable.

And i've gotten into Gears of War lately as well which surprised me because I didn't really like it to start off with...

And here I was feeling like I was regretting my 360 purchase... there are more games on 360 that I'll be buying than on Wii for me this year now... I'd have never have thunk!

Wii = Mario Galaxy, Mario & Sonic and Metroid Prime 3 (disappointed!! :() - Zack & Wiki got delayed in Australia

Naruto is a great platform game with fighting. I was skeptical, but bought it anyhow... No regrets...

I got my wife to buy me Ace Combat 6 for Christmas with the flight stick... I want to open it now though...

Pre-ordered Mass Effect for $50.99 yesterday as there was an online sale at Best Buy Canada... But, early reviews look great...

Assassin's Creed, I will buy when it shows up at stores...

Also, add Need for Speed Pro Street... Looks like EA is rejuvenating the series nicely. And Rock Bands is getting great early reviews.

Dang, I bought Naruto for Wii. I thought they were the same game as the one for 360. I might need to buy Naruto for 360 as well.
Just got done with COD4 campaign.
Working on Lost World, Godfather, Lego Star Wars, and Blue Dragon.
Will definitely get, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect.
What's coming out in December?
I flew passed 5600 Achievement points - probably will get close to 8000 by the end of the year.

I miss golf.

The 360 does look really impressive. I cannot wait for Mass Effect. It looks absolutely amazing. I'm not sure about Naruto though, it looked like an instant buy before but I'm not to sue about it anymore. I think I'm going to rent it this weekend.

why would anyone regret buying a 360- there are great games for it
That is enough to make anyone happy i think.
But I guess some people do dwell on what the competition has to offer, which is very strong now, and especially in the future.

See how you feel 6 months from now, then you will know if you made the right choice.

naruto: rise of a ninja is really good, just finished, if you don't rush and do all the side quests and collect all the coins it will take you around 16 hours

Origin your list looks like mine, although I might wait on Naruto. One thing for sure is, Im spending too much money on these games lately. Lego Star Wars Complete Saga is also on my list.

Im actually completely more excited for next years list, easily tops this years for me

yeah man lost odyssey, fable 2, alan wake, banjo kazooie 3, halo wars, devil may cry 3, 08 is the year of the 360

All great games - you can't really go wrong with ANY console OR handheld these days.

Its pretty amazing - I'm sure there has never been a period such as this in history EVER before.
