I haven't tried the other, but logic says they would be similar, bottlenecked by your internet speed and Nintendo's server speeds, before interference could come in significant doses in the wireless.

Tried both.

Wired made a big difference to me. Nintendo Channel and iPlayer and online multiplayer became a lot smoother.

So wi-fi will only be limited compared to Ethernet if there is substantial interference? A lot of Wii fans say that the wired method is superior, is there any water to that?

The question is what kind of connection are you running off of? These experiences vary radically from person to person. I'll extend that question to Tangent, also...

Wired is better and more stable from what I learned from recent Experience with Tatsunoko vs.Capcom online.....I'm not saying wirless is complete crap but I faced some of the same people using wired and then wireless and is smoother and and less skipping...(on my side)

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

Iv only tried Wi-Fi and I find it fast

Look up "Internet Speed Test" on Google, or something close to it. But if you're on FiOS, then Wireless G *is* going to be a bottleneck for your internet speed, so you probably should go Wired, but i would verify your speed first.

Probably depends a lot on how good your wireless router is and how favourable your environment is for radio waves.

Put it this way, it's unlikely that wired would be worse than wireless.
