So I've just thought to myself, whatever happened to The Last Remnant being released on the PS3?

The last I'd heard of it was at GDC where there was an awkward silence, and they weren't allowed to talk about it, which pretty much said they'd cancelled it due to their financial reports (This is also on wiki, the game only sold 580k on 360 and PC combined, worldwide)

Which, although it's not anything official, and Amazon aren't exactly anything to go by, but hey, it's a lead towards The Last Remnant being released once more, most probably as an "Internation Edition" if it's ever released.

What do you guys think about this? Is there still hope for this game coming over to the PS3, or is it all just speculation and false rumours once more?

This game needs to just hurry up and come out, before its has like zero hype.

If it does come out, its gotta have a shit load of extra content and a revamped graphics engine for anyone to eve consider buying it. The game is majorly dated now.

Yeah, but isn't White Knight Chronicles also dated? That needs to come out, like RIGHT NOW (Oh look at that, it's past midnight, meaning it's 2nd Feb, too bad I'm from UK...)

But to be honest, I'm not too bothered about the graphics of games, I mean sure, I love good graphics, but if they don't detract from the gameplay, then I'm really not bothered at all.

I don't mind bad/decent graphics either, my point is A LOT of other people do. And this game is taking so long, if it even does come out, it'll be like 2 years after the Xbox 360 version. I'm pretty sure a lot of people will complain about it.

I really want this on PS3 if they fix the technical problems it had. I still have hope that it will will come out, but at this point I'm thinking it wont.

Yeah, I'd like to play it too, and since this has popped up, although it's most likely wrong, it'd be nice to see it emerge someday.

I do! The Xbox 360 version, despite its flaws, was a very promising game. If they made it so you can save during battles or in between and fixed those glitches, this would be a good game. Nothing pissed me off more than going through 2 boss fights to get killed and have to start ALL over, wasting an hour of my life.

I think you might be able to save during battles on the PC version. If not, I believe that they did make saving more convenient on the PC version from what I've heard. They also fixed up a lot of the glitches and technical problems. I played only a little bit of the PC demo and never touched the 360 version so I wouldn't know. Apparently the PC version is the vastly superior version.

WKC is not dated. They have online play and the georama. Moreover, the online items are brought into the single player mode.
