all ds3 are matte ur old ones are glossy b/c of use oils from ur skin make them gloss black wipe down ur old ds3 with some rubbing alcohol ull see it will turn like new again revealing the matte color

the only other diffs are the actual design of them the old ds3 has 2 pieces in between the triggers the new ones are all flush one piece and also the internals are a little diff on the new ones

the matte finish has been coming out for a while...i got my matte finish with the mgs4 bundle...while on the other hand...my newer ds3 is a glossy finish...but i did buy it around the same time...although i am starting to see more matte finish in stores past couple months...they still haven't completely replaced the glossy version though it seems...which imo they should...

 

i love the matte finish...the controller doens't slip out of ur hand...

not sure if ur being sarcastic or not...but above comment should explain if u are really serious about ur comment...not all ds3 are matte...my matte finish ds3 still has the matte finish....my matte finish ds3 is my main controller as well...it's used about literally 10 times more than my glossy one...which was glossy since i opened it...

no i was serious my matte turns a little glossy after use from the oils on ur skins i never seen a true glossy out the box ds3 here

and i bought my 1st ds3 way back in late 07 from a independent game shop imported from japan it was matte also bought ds3 with the old ps3 logo spelled out on it and its the same color as my ds3 that has a red box with the new slim ps3 logo

yeah but i don't think its like that.

I just compared my friend's controller that he got with his PS3 SLIM that he bought at christmas and they are different.

 

my friends controller is like my old one.

 

there is something that the PS3 controllers we get with PS3 glossier and look better than the standalone ones

Its not a different color.its black but everything is a little bit faded kind.i had the same thing when i bought a standalone PS2 controller

the controller that comes with the ps3 sucks and its cheap quality the dualshock 3 that u buy alone is good and it is kinda gray and its heavier and the buttons feel smoother and better which gives it a better overall feeling so i dont think urs is weird or anything ohh yeah and about the color its not the same the one thats bundles is dark black and the standalone controller is grayish black color

controller bundled with the PS3 is cheap?

 

i love my old DS3.just freaking love it.it feels so much better

its not like that.just compared my new controller with my friends PS3 bundled controller that he got with PS3 SLIM which he bought this christmas

Those controllers are more than likely manufactured at diffrent time so there might be some small diffrences in colour and maybe even small changes inside the mechanisms.

My friend who just bought a PS3 this christmas got an old glossier controller with his PS3 SLIM like my old one.

Sweat is magic. A very long time ago, mankind was able to cast spells and summoning cupcakes right after they were born. The only thing that still remains from that time, is our sweat, our hand sweat in particular.
