I don't know what I would rate the other chapters in FFXIII. All I know is that Chapter 7 gets a 50/10 from me. It was so amazing. Snow & Hope FTW.
Fuck, fuck, fuck the Treasure Hunter trophy. After farming 16 platinum ingots I still need more because some components can only be obtained by dismantling weapons that have to be upgraded to get weapons required for the trophy too? WTF is this?
I'm done with this game for this week, i'm just too damn frustrated and tommorrow i'm going on vacation.

Mine: COM/RAV/RAV -- Main RAV/RAV/RAV -- Secondary( I use it after I have 1 round of the main one, unless its a weak enemy) COM/MED/RAV -- Used when health is low on 1 character..usually during a stagger of an enemy RAV/MED/RAV -- Used when health is low on 1 character when the enemy isn't in a stagger state MED/MED/MED -- Really important cus some enemies take away 85% of the health in 1 attack! MED/SYN/SAB -- Usually used at the start of a boss battle |
it all usually depends on what team im using at the time but currently my team is Lightning, Fang and Hope and their paradigms are:
(RAV/COM/MED) - Usually switch to this if leaders health falls below 60%
(RAV/COM/RAV) - Main
(MED/SEN/MED) - Used to heal inbetween using (MED/SAB/SYN) and (RAV/COM/RAV)/(COM/COM/RAV)
(COM/SEN/RAV) - Used currently only against Ochus
(MED/SAB/SYN) - Against anything strong usually, everything seems slow if i dont have haste now xD
(COM/COM/RAV) - For quick destruction

Can you not just upgrade them, meet requirements (owned them) for that weapon and dismantle for components? |
Nope, because some rare components are only obtained from * tier 1 weapons like Edged Carbine. You cannot upgrade it to Razor Carbine or else you won't get the component, as the dismantling composition is totally different.
As it was not enough, you don't get the trophy directly, you'll have to talk to the robot in Oerba to get it. That's what made it so frustrating, having to go all the way back for nothing and losing one hour of upgrading what I thought was the only things needed for the trophy.

No they don't.
Just weapons/accessories.

Nope, components, items, weapons and Accesories are all part of the Trophy. It's on the guide.
Plus, I made all the weapons and accesories in the game and still didn't get it, after talking to Bhaakti on Oerba.

Dude I have the trophy. >.<
Only accessories and weapons count. Use the guides over at Xbox360a. You probably just missed one, or didn't upgrade something right.
