So I need a Chocobo to get to a mission location but to fight the mission I have to dismount and then the Chocobo runs away meaning I have to run all the way back to their nest to get a new one....is there anyway to avoid having to run back and forth to their nest all the time that I missed?

I killed him on my first go, he's pretty easy. Just make sure you have a COM/MED/COM + RAV/RAV/COM + COM/RAV/COM paradigm in your list, use Librascope at the beginning of the battle, take care of the heads first using RAV/RAV/COM to maximize damage, switch to COM/MED/COM as needed. 

Once the heads are down, focus on RAV/RAV/COM to boost up the Chain Link bonus. Make sure to heal if your health drops below 500, or his Thantalossian Smile can kill you in one hit. Make sure you stagger him before he does Destrudo, because any chain link bonus you had accumulated so far will be wiped out when he starts Destrudo (fucking cheap if you ask me). Once he's doing Destrudo, switch to COM/RAV/COM to maximize damage output in order to cut half of his attack damage. 

Bear in mind that my paradigms and party where based on Lightning/Vanille/Fang, so yours could be different. Also, I had a full CS level 6 too. 


i did him on my second try, yay, actually he was easy after all my characters was maxed out (at the time for stage 6), i did get a crap rating tho, so thinking of tweaking my paradigms and redoing it lol, oh yeah darth chapter 9 is 10/10 coz i finally got to do what i wanted to do for the past 25 hours lol.

how long are you guys staying in gran pulse for? I've done 16 or so missions. On a side note i maxed out my helter skelter, now i just need the last catalyst to turn it into the omega weapon. Does anybody know how to make items on this game? I seen on hte JP version you could combine items to make other rare items.

In Chapter 11. I was there for about 16 hours. Post-Game, I have been here about 14 hours so far.

not in the tower not grinding anymore but before that..

the cave area had 1 or 2 spots that had great place to grind CP for low levels.. was getting about 10k CP every few minutes and about 50+k CP roughly every 10 mins on just 3 group of monsters can probably kill much faster if you got stronger weps.

 

oh that boss with the 2+ mill hp ... was eeeeeeasssssyyy!!

 

getting annoyed with the c'eith stone missions there is one at the top of the tower (Apex)  saying to slay a monster on the ground tier but I can't find it >__>

hmmm i've been there for prob about 8 or 10...the challenge are starting to get a little rough.  I think i might go on soon.

those of you worried about gill keep in mind that in chapter 11 you can fight cactuar and he drop item worth 12000 gill and after you beat mission 14 you can find golden nuggets in the sand with chocobo that sell for 60k gill. Also, if your wanting to level your weapon fast and the most efficient way.
