I think it will be announced this year but launched next year. Can't wait till E3 now, although it will probably get completely leaked before then.

nah nothing will be leaked this time.Sony usually leak info themselves to build hype but if they leak it this time about a whole new handheld then Nintendo might react so they will keep it wrapped

i always thought and knew PSP GO was always a trial run for PSP 2.

i wonder what the price will be. Looking at PSP GO and PS3 in the past i wont be suprised if Sony goes for something crazy.

PS3 had a high development cost so the selling cost was high.it doesn't mean everything from sony will be very costly.

 

PSP GO was more like a trial run for PSP 2 to check out if people will go for the digital distribution.and about the price,one of the reason that they priced it so high was to reduce the loss being made at PS3 sales and the other to check it People would buy PSP 2 at a high price
