Forums - Sony - Heavy rain has a 4500MB / 4.5 GB install

most of you aren't PC gamers for sure... this is so ordinary... its easy, put the disc... learn how to do the origami and then come here complain about the time of install, play the game, get happy for the fact that you purchased this game and then come here again to say how wonderful this game is... those this sound so bad?

haha, love it,well done heavy rain i like you even more

i like this game more with every thread/news i read and thats alot around here

isn't that what hard drives are for,i mean for game developers to use?

ever since i've been gaming i've had to wait for something to install whats the big deal,is it the i want it now generation,i don't get it

whens heavy rain coming out again,we need a new thread people

I feel the same.  I am dissappointed if a game doesn't have an install.   Are some games with load times that take ages and I really wish could install and shorten them.

thats right,i'm fine with install too,

i can understand people with  no space on their HDD,

my 60gb was full up and i was about to get a new bigger harddrive and my PS3 packed up and i lost everything, but have 60gb of space again now just in time for heavy rain

A lot of people are still under the impression that a console is not a PC (which it now is from a hardware perspective, only limited in function) and should not require installs.

Of course another way of looking at it is if the console has a hard drive, why wouldn't you be able to install data on it to make the game run smoother or load faster?

If you've ever had to wait for a Steam game to DL or any PC game off disc to install, you'd be quick to admit it's still a lot faster and simpler to install on a console.

when i used to play on other people's PC's in the mid 90's,it felt like you had to be bill gates to get the game going

of course you didn't but thats what it felt like, especially for someone like myself who never had their own computer at the time

i don't mind waiting,i also remember tapes
