Been looking into this up and coming game called "Majin: The Fallen Realm" for a while now and thought I'd break the duck and make a thread here.

Not very much is known about it, it's penned in for 2010 but no release dates yet and limited information. Basically all we can go on is the overview, it's a story about a thief in a realm gone bad who has a pet rock monster. Ok sounds dumb but hey, go away and try and explain SOTC to a non-gamer and see how dumb that sounds... believe me I've done it, it sounds ridiculious.

Which again, doesn't reveal much, except that theres an undoubtable comparison between this, and The Last Guardian. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's going to be as good as The Last Guardian, it might be, but most likely won't be, with Team Ico's track record you have to feel that game will be nothing less than spectacular and standing anything up against Team Ico's track record just isn't really fair. However what it could be is good, and personally I think it's worth keeping an eye on.

Side note: Don't bother trying to lord it over the ps3 gamers if you are so inclined, because it's a cross platform game, 360 and ps3. Still, if it is good you'll beable to play it, and that should be what matters.

OT: Looks interesting, but certainly won't be as good as Last Guardian.

Guys who made folklore. the trademark glitter is even there.

When I first saw the trailer Dante's Inferno jumped to my mind because of how much similar does it take from the God of War formula.

Since we don't know much about TLG anyway I can only say this does look very similar in concept and art (the world is really reminiscent of that Ico's and SOTC). Anyway this reminded me why there is still not that much information about TLG I really hope it's coming out this year.

Looks cool, reminds me of goobues in final fantasy. Anywho if it is cross platform why include it in microsoft thread? I know you are trying to establish the similarities of The last Guardian and this game and let all know that the 360 will get this type of game too but you contradict yourself with your side note by putting it within the microsoft discussion.
