I cannot redeem any cards on my xbox... if i use a card, it will say you must sign in to messenger for such a large reedemption. However my xbox refuses to sign in to messenger. This has never been a problem though, ive just redeemed codes on xbox.com and recover my gamer tag, however their site does't havew the option to do so... I wont redeem at this time...

I want to try it on my 360, but last time i tried on a 360, the card idn't work, and I had to go through an hour talk with a microsoft employee, because my card didn't give me points, but showed up as if it had been redeemed... Any ideas how i can get it to sign in? (BTW Im positive that the password and username are correct, because I tested it on my computer and it works and i made sure everything as spelt right on the xbox...

I find when I switch 360's it does not allow msgr sign in.

You hit the XBox button, goto chat & IM, goto the msgr tab and you should be able to re-enter your uid and pwd there.

No you canèt put your email in here, when i go to chage it, it wont accept my oringina email as verivication to change it to a new one which seems to be the only way my xbox will stop being a bitch

why would you need to sign in to messenger to redeem a code...


anyways...did you try redeeming the code online?(xbox.ca)

edit: i just noticed you mentioned problems with the site.   the option to redeem codes is there.

go to xbox live - xbox live marketplace

then go to My Account - Redeem Code

I got it all sorted out afterwards... However, when i made the thread, althrough the option was there to redeem, once you put in code and clicked ok, it came up that the site was unable to redeem points at this time... It started working when i woke up this morning
