good news is theres a rumor of star wars battlefront online in pre-production, yeah STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT ONLINE!!!!! I know, I got a boner as well, but before you get your hopes up,

the bad news is, Slant six is the rumored developer............................ now while they did fix most of Socom, the fact that they had to fix so damn much of it makes me wonder, they did ruined Socom for A lot of Socom fans, and now they are working on another online only title with a heavy fanbase,

Now I know there's been a lot of BS retarded "I hope they learned their lesson" but for one of the actual deserved times for using this, I'll go ahead and say it first, I HOPE THEY LEARNED THEIR LESSON

Finally i thought it was all over when Pandemic went down and Star wars III battlefront died as long as the gameplay is similar this will be amazing.

Never played the Socom game, but hoepfully they learned their lesson.

Well, I'll take it. I'm desperate for more Battlefront. I still have to get Elite Squadron, but that might be a while off before I can finally afford it.

I never really cared about any of the campaigns in Battlefront, so online only isn't a huge problem. But I'd still like there to be the Instant Action option since that's what I always use, and I just play with a couple of friends.

I'll kill them if they screw this up! Battlefront is holy for me and a lot of other fans, so why don't just give it to Pandemic? And why does this take so long? I'm waiting for this one since 05!

Seriously though I wouldn't get your hopes up and there are plenty of great games to help you forget about this. If it comes true and is actually good then great news for all, if not then we will have plenty of other goodies to play.

I don't see why people say Slant Six ruined SOCOM, I mean, I'm a long time fan of the series, and think SOCOM: Confrontation is a great game, I don't see any problems with it whatsoever, and people should lay off them, I mean, it's hard to keep up to the standards of Zipper, but if you ask me, they sure pulled it off...

The game didn't function properly for 6 months - it had features missing that were printed on the back of the box - for half a ****ing year. They forgot to make password protected rooms, ruining clan warfare. Worst of all, they released the game with 7 maps (3 of which were remakes of old maps) and din't ****ing put out any DLC for over a year.

 That is a disgrace, quite simply a disgrace. They took one of the best online series and took a dump on it from the heavens. Nothing is left of the Socom community (In Europe anyway) and Zipper are going to have to work miracles to save this game with Socom 4.

 God I just hope they remake Socom 2, put it in HD, add tropheis and give us 3 new maps every month. That'd be absolutely ****ing incredible, and the only thing that would save this game from the stain left by Siant Six.

I think you mean Free Radical, they were the ones in charge of Battlefront 3. All that happened years before Pandemic died.
