see, I can see your point, but i just dont want the clutter of another pc. I just want it for easy document writing and those iwork powerpoint things, bit of web browing, ebooks, movies,msn and calendar and photos and stuff.

lol, I don't know if I really had a point other than posting a funny Mac video, but I guess I can say you could buy one of those laptops and you'd get all those features yet still be able to do more useful things + multitask for ~$450

lol i only just watched it, thought it was just a normal mac pro, ignor my last comment, but u see, I dont WNAT to multitask, I have a pc for that allready. it would be nice, but i wouldnt really care, and what more "usefull" things are you talking about?

the archos is tempting, the stylus inclusion is really good, but its another pc! i dont want to deal with clutter, crashes, junk software, viruses, antivirus programs etc.

The Microsoft Courier will be crap, if history tells us anything. MS have not been very good and innovating the user experience.

When you think about what most people do most of the time, the iPad is not a bad device. It does what it does very well. The only problem I have, is it's just to limiting in what it does.

And it really is just a iPod touch with a bigger screen. Not that that's a bad thing, but will all they hype, I expected more (In apples defense, none of the hype came from them).

That's during the event. I am talking about all the hype leading up to it.. for a year.

And there is no question the Zune is a better piece of hardware, but the user experience on the iTouch imo is just far better.

I guess the best way I can describe the difference between Apple and Microsoft, is in everything Apple does (the iPad included), I dislike what the products don't do. Nothing the iPad does, does it do poorly. With Microsoft, I hate how that do things, not the lack of things.

Between these two flaws, I will take Apples way every time. I would much rather not buy something (like the iPad) and be upset with Apple for making it, then buy a Microsoft product that claims to do so many things, and in the end be unhappy with what they delivered.

That totally isn't the iPad.

The rest of that, if you already have a laptop, it already does all those things...
