i was playing uncharted 2 multiplayer , and my ps3 started to do this loud "vacumm cleaner" noise , i turned it off imidiatly . what could it be?

Not sure, but when my systems do that it seriously freaks me the hell out. Especially with my 360. I turn it off and it sounds like an electricity zap or something. and i'm like...ok did it just die or what.

Sometimes they just make noises to make us worry.

Possibly it could have been your fan turning on a high setting because it was getting hot? and it turned off quickly because it cooled down maybe?

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

thanks i hope its that. my 360 gave me the rrod 1 year ago and still works so.

simple its backup fans from ur PS3 kickin in probably because its gettin hot in there do to prolonged play time

I have the MGS4 80GB B/C PS3 so i'm used to hearing my PS3 on a higher fan setting due to having more guts. Just make sure the baby is out and can breath. I do not recommend putting it in front of a wall. Mines out on my HDTV Plasma box. Lol. Plenty of space.
