You have very low expectations for "perfection" |
Games like KZ2 and Bad company really have good controls, I love turning like a tank when im infantry...
Im done here. Say what you want, the game sucks, its over rated.

Did you try adjusting the sensitivity if you feel you turn too slowly?
Listen, first off, you're a newb, here's what I want you to do.
Play as a Medic. The big clip and decent accuracy of the LMG will help you readjust. The medpacks will help you stay alive.
Don't go fucking running around. Think for a second, WHERE AM I? Are you in friendly territory, or enemy? Get rid of the death match mode mentality, and think more about where your team mates are. If you have someone to your left and right, those sides are covered.
Here's the general strategy. First, identify where the action is. The bridge? The left side? Right side?
Next, identify what you want to do. You could just go into the front line and shoot there, but that really won't bring any decisive victories.
Check out this again:
See the Decisive Action is with the flanks? With the calvary? That's what you want to do. You see a bunch of guys just shoot at each other in the middle, you want to slowly and cautiously move around, and hit the enemy from behind or the sides. You'll get massive kills, and the enemy lines will collapse, allowing your allies to storm in.
It's so much more satisfying if you do this with a tank, and just wreck absolute havock.
Of course, if the enemy has a decent team, their tanks should try to be getting around, be covering the flanks, etc, but that's where teh challenge is yo.

I do that, but then I'm that awesome and can get away with it. |
I still remember that time when you got 5-7 kills against those med kit glitchers XD XD And they were stupid enough to do it again XD!!!
KylieDog said: My best ever BF kill possible was in 1942. I was flying a plane and an enemy plane was heading right at me, I though he was gonna kamikaze into me so I aim for him and bailed last moment, it turns out he liked his plane and tried flying under me last. A moment later I realise I ejected onto his wing and was standing on it, he noticed me and slowed down and leveled out, we laughed at on the text chat "lol" "OMG" then I threw TNT onto his nose and wing and jumped, blowing it. Sadly caught myself in the explosion also because I was worried the TNT would fall off if I didn't blow it quick. He didn't care he died because of how great it was, laughed at it. I don't think I could bail onto a wing if I tried, pure luck. |
That would be an awesome scene in singleplayer XD And totally unrealistic XD
Reminds me of the scene in the single player trailer where Preston jumps out of the plane with the bomb, and just a shit load of Gold Bars falling around him.
Okay so I managed to play and it's hard to describe how awesome it is.
It's just.. that great.
I think I'm in love :o
(I'll get teh screenshotz tomorrow, totally forgot about them and I got to sleep because of work tomorrow morning :/)
Battlefield felt alot like Killzone 2, which seem's to put emphasis on heavy movement and strategy over easy kill's and run and gun gameplay. I can't find myself turning to other shooters now, so let's hope Battlefield 2 lives up to my high expectations and comes sooner than later.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Its moments like those that make me wish every game had an in-built game recorder like Halo 3. So many epic moments in Bad Company and countless other games that I will never be able to see again :(
I downloaded the demo on the 360 and I'm loving it, the game takes skill. My only gripe is that the quads don't spawn enough. I prefer to have a form of quick transportation for getting back to the front lines. I also still need to get used to the feel of the sniper since its so different from any other game. Any tips in regard to sniping would be greatly appreciated. For example which sniper is the best and how far ahead do you lead targets?
The definitive evidence that video games turn people into mass murderers
you guys are crazy.....
and thanks for putting a map of the "ligne maginot", the greatest french engineering construction ever!! (story says a german company did the electricity for it... so they had all the plans to the place...)
Otherwise... gonna try to get this now that everyone is praising it (i'll try the 360 demo but buy on PC). Just need to find a cheap price!

After playing the demo, it seems to be a pretty good game. Nothing amazing, but I will buy it and play with my buds who are getting it.
Question about this:
Limited Edition
Improved Vehicle Armor: An up-armor package is mounted on all vehicle types, decreasing the effect of both explosive and penetrating warheads, significantly improving vehicle survivability.
Supreme Vehicle Firepower: Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expanding the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.
Vehicle Motion Sensor: Use this electronics warfare package to locate enemy units in direct proximity to the vehicle.
Tracer Dart Pistol: This magnetic dart attaches to any vehicle surface, allowing squad members to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight.
M1A1 Sub-machine Gun: Reliable but heavy this classic weapon is a powerful force in the hands of any Battlefield veteran.
M1911 Pistol: Highly customized M1911 are favoured for its dependability and the power of its large .45 caliber round.

Does this mean that the LE players have these advantages over others...... :x
