In any case, this is one of the consequences of online play being free on the PS3. You never know when they'll pull support for a game.

I believe 1st party games will continue to have online mode for a long time, but 3rd parties supposedly have to maintain the infrastructure themselves, so you never know when they need to start charging people for online play, or pull it completely. The money for servers, maintenance and customer support has to come from somewhere...

 


 Evolution Studios was bought by Sony a few months ago, so they are first party.

 It's highly unlikely that Motorstorm is losing it's online functionality anyime soon.

Hmm damned my Japanese suck... If I read it I only read that you can't download the additional content anymore from 6 June.

But that makes no sense at all..
