I was just looking and I wonder if wii/ds/360/ps3/psp/ next gen consoles will ever pass the ps2 in total 1mil+ sellers

It's not, because userbase only matters when you need or try to sell more games than a system. Both systems have games people want to buy. That third parties think their games magically won't sell on the Wii (because the Wii magically made Madworld not sell, not that it was short and had no replay value) is why most of their hits are on the other systems.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Ubisoft giving No More Heroes 2 absolutely no promotion really makes me mad.

Not only does it have 75 million sellers but a good balance of games; from casual, core, hardcore, and fitness. And 52 3rd party million sellers! (Not bad when you consider the Wii has only ONE third party AAA game 'MH3')

 


Dang Jan. is not even over...so yes they are going to reach 100 mil this yr...

That's an incredibly depressing list. Did anybody actually read it? It's sad, I love my wii, but I wouldn't touch the majority of those games with a ten foot pole, let alone play them.
