Hummm, the Populous series was a bit more of a God game, in the lines of SimCity or Black&White, it wasn't a true RTS per se. If we could go with that in that thread, I'd go with Civilization all the way xD

Starcraft is no way near as good as Warcraft. Even when Starcraft 2 comes out I will still be playing Warcraft III a lot more.

Also Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Dawn of War II are awesome games. Dark Crusade was my favorite expansion from the first. I can't wait for Chaos Rising.

The Populous series yes, but I'd say The Beginning is a RTS.

The Populous series yes, but I'd say The Beginning is a RTS.

Hummm, okay. It's just that I've always seen the RTS part of Populous the beginning to be akin to the RTS part of The Settlers series.
