Xbox Live is a "more juvenile" place to game online than Sony's PSN, says Ben Jones of MAG developer Zipper Interactive.
The immature actions and foul-mouthed slurs of MS' online gamers are to blame, according to Jones. "I actually consider Xbox Live the more juvenile of the two," he said, adding that this was because of "the things that are being said over Xbox Live".
Despite a common complaint of PSN being a lack of player communication, Jones says the MAG beta actually showed otherwise: "I think the PlayStation audience definitely fits more to our game," he said.
"As we saw in the beta we've got an audience that's willing to communicate and willing to organise and structure, and help other people to play the game," he told GamerZines (via Edge-Online).
"That's the most remarkable thing that I saw in the beta - random people helping other players along to try and familiarise themselves with this really cool experience."
Sony also reckons MAG is a system-seller.
