Also, as ppl mentioned devs always overexagerate game lengths. Did Santa Monica break your heart for lying to you? They always announce extremely conservative game times. LoZ:TP took me 50 hrs onthe first playthrough and I took my sweet ass time enjoying the landscape and yet nintendo's estimate was still longer than that by a bit (if i remember correctly)


And it took your first playthrough 8 hrs minus all your deaths btw.

And no one's trying to defend the 10 hr statement cuz several ppl have admitted to beating the game quicker than that other than yourself. Most ppl are just attacking you for reviving a yr old thread for nuttin.

lol no, there was no boasting of any kind and i never made it "obvious" it was my first playthrough. I couldnt care less if they lied. The game was slighty boring in places so i wouldnt want it to last 10 hours.

Its just amazing how everyone rushed out of the wood work to whine about my comment, they should whine about the lies. They said over 10 hours yet most people finished it in under 10 hours.

never said you made it obvious. I said "obviously make everyone assume" since you were vague and complaining about Santa Monica's playtime estimate which is of the first playthrough, not the second playthrough.

All I was getting at was if I'm promised a 10hr game, I wouldn't ever expect that from any company.

Taking you 8 hrs to beat the game isn't all that far off. I don't see the need to have to "whine about the lies." Molyneux overly exagerating things merits complaints, not something like this. And if you found the game slightly boring, it's unfortunate. I'm sure there's many other games you can enjoy rather than spending time playing the game twice.
