Good point, they at least tend to have a less convoluted approach to sex than average girls, if nothing else, and they are usually sexier (and cleaner) than male geek stereotypes.
What about catgirls? Geeky or pissed of? Both?
Wait, how about the Wii turning girls into catgeeks? Or geeks with cats into girls?
Hm...I need to do some serious thinking.

What are these girls you speak of? In all of the basements I've ever lived in, I've never encountered one.
I thought of something else, which actually makes alot of sense. Nintendo claims alot of girls are Wii gamers. But if the Wii actually makes geeks girlier, those "girls" may have been men in disguise! I know I have been wearing dresses alot more often since I got my Wii.

They turn on their cloaking devices when they enter basements
Didn't you ever suspect that MGS' cloaking device's name "Octocamo" must surely derive from that Japanese fetishism for sex with cephalopods that dates since even before those famous Hokusai prints?
