You heard it here first folks, accoridng to gamerankings the best cod4 is on the playstation 3. followed by the 360 version. Here are the ratings.

PS3: 95.1%

360:95.0%

pc 93.4%

ds: 78%

So if anyone cant decide between which to versions to buy the ps3 version is the one best suited for you.

Yeah, I didn't think the DS version would be very good.

PCs shouldn't even be counted. Games get reviewed on a curve, and PC gamers just expect alot. Plus keyboard and mouse is drastically different from an Xbox or Playstation controller, and PC gamers will always choose mouse keyboard over a controller.

Thats why they "think" pc shooters are better, but the controls for us hardcore console gamers it sucks.

Yes soriku imagine cod 4 ends up at 95% and SMG ends up 95.1% its GOTY. .1% makes a huge difference. This means that the ps3 version is somewhat better than the 360 version FINALLY!!!

I can't play console FPSs since the N64 days before I had a good enough PC to play any high end games. But since I have I just can't play console FPSs, they are just akward and clunky. It lacks the precision and versatility of the mouse keyboard set up. If the wii starts to get a worthwhile FPS line up, then that's cool because the IR fixes alot of that, but dual analogue....no....not happening.

You need to play resistance or halo on the ps3 or xbox the controls are near perfect.
