Closing Comments
Dark Void is all over the place. The story’s never explained adequately, the combat’s pretty much always a chore, and flying isn’t nearly as fun as it should be. I don’t hate Dark Void, but I don’t care for it, either. This is one of those titles that just exists; I doubt few will remember it this time next year.

Ahh crap... (initial reaction)

Sometimes though, IGN simply writes off games that end up being very entertaining. (Overlord, Overlord 2... Overlord again...)

Game Informer gave it a 7 and pointed out a lot of the same stuff, but they thought that the gameplay balanced the bad a little bit.

After playing the demo I would say that the score is well deserved. Looking at metacritic, most reviews don't prove much stronger.

on topic though, ... i was expecting some nice things from this game, though the demo was abit underwhelming i mean, you could have a jetpack in Warhawk so.... think i'll pass on my exp with the game not on this review, though wasn't there a time in gaming history when 5's where just "Okay" instead of horrid today?

i also played the demo and i wasnt impressed...it looked like it could be fun but then tedious like prototype got for me in the middle of the game
