Is there anything blocking the the tray from opening? You can take the bezel of the front of the tray. Maybe that'll help?

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm willing to try anything if it's free. lol Hopefully it stops in time for me to preorder Mass Effect 2. As long as it doesn't trick me and start doiong it again as soon as I buy it. It's been this way for 3 weeks now though.

You've got every console, you should be able to go a week without the 360 to be positive your 360 is fine.

Don't use that butter knife!  Get a paperclip/hairpin or something.  Pop the face plate off and stick the paperclip/hairpin (straighten it out, first) into one of the holes below the disc tray.  It's the release button.

I was a fool. I didn't heed the advice. I shipped my 360 today.

Playing Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2 is on hold for a couple of weeks. If only I wasn't so into Magna Carta 2. I'd have shipped it weeks ago! Lesson: When VGChartz members say do something, do it!

I would have had my 360 3 days ago, If it wasn't for the snow storm over the past week. I wasn't home yesterday when the UPS guy came and he left a note saying that it needed a COD? WTF? He couldn't come again today because it snowed again.

Lol! Misery loves company. At least I know you guys aren't going to be beating me in the Gamerscore league this week!!

I was playing through Mass Effect 1 to refresh myself for ME2 and it wouldn't read anymore. I downloaded a few videos and the demo for Sega's new Kart racer, too. At least I have a few other consoles to keep me busy, in the meantime. There were a few games I'd been meaning to play, anyway.
