Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask.    She used to love to watch her brother play but got frustrated playing herself.  I don't know if she's tried the DS ones.   My son had Phantom Hourglass for a while, not sure if she ever tried it.

Hmm, I never had control problems with either games. Get her to try TWW if you have that. Solid controls, visually appealing, etc. (also it's the best Zelda IMO :P)

Didn't say she had control problems, but back in those days they were both so young they used to get spooked by the zombies lol (I always had to do the zombie area). She loved the exploration and talking to people but not the fighting.   She sucked at fighting (mainly because she was always scared and fought really timidly) and that's where the frustration came in for her.

For her, and probably a lot of other girls an easy mode where you're almost invunerable would be good or just less fighting in general.

If you don't mind my asking - which Zelda? If it was Twilight Princess, she might enjoy the DS games more

Ah, I see. Phantom Hourglass might be good for her if she ever wants to get back into the series again, because it's not very combat-intensive and the most you have to do for the majority of enemies is tap on them.

And worse comes to worst, you could always do the bosses for her.

Too late, she's discovered real boys now.   But it's not too late for millions of other girls (and housewives) if Nintendo plays it's cards right.

7 or 8 million...

similar sales to TP.

Saludos!!

If the news leaked on the front is correct. I see this Zelda Revitalising the Brand for both the Old and the New. I see 10 Million at Least

That's a rumor, not a leak, and nothing suggested there would serve to make the series more appealing to non-core buyers

.
The integrated sword mechanic and the non dungeon format does to me, Motion+ could also be a reason. Also I meant to say RUMOR. Thanks for clearing that up ;)
