Capcom Vs doesn't pit them against other fighting series just major licenses so it that respect Final Fantasy or DC makes the most sense (although DC has been done by MK).

However Capcom Vs Nintendo (SSB) would be epic and a massive seller.

I'm being torn apart to choose either Capcom VS. Nintendo or Askyss (creators of Guilty Gear series and Blaze Blue). now that I see Nintendo is winning, Askyss is getting my votey!

Since SSB. Melee had that Stamina Mode wich emulates close to what traditional fighting games does, so I see no problem with it.
And speaking of Capcom VS. series, why not throw SNK's VS. series in the mix as well. As Ken_Max said, I also wanted to see another Capcom/SNK matches, can't wait to see a catfight between Felicia and ChamCham! ;)
