There ya go.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Huh, why have I not heard of this before?
It's not going to happen but it would be great if SE released some of the 16-bit games that never left Japan. I would love to see Romancing Saga or Seiken Densetsu III hit VC!

On the youtube page for this game, next to the date and video creator's name, there is a "URL" tab. Copy the code within that (Ctrl +C).

Then here on VGC, in a rich text reply, or when making a thread, there is a symbol all the way at the right, below the brush and to the right of the smiley face. It looks like a film reel. Click that icon, and insert the code you copied previosly into the designated URL space.

Alter the dimensions of the video (if you want) and click insert.

Voila!

looks ok, I mean no chrono but looks cool

Before trying to release even more obscure SNES RPGs, they should think about trying to fix the series they have. Like Mana or Chrono. A simple enhanced port of Seiken Densetsu 3 to the DS (much like Chrono Trigger got) could sell a million and enhance the Mana series greatly. And a new Chrono game would be the next cult classic for their company.

But as for just the logistics of releasing games period, SquareEnix can't even get games to sell outside of Japan. They only have two major series that sell outside of Japan (Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts) because they drop the ball on advertising all the others. Their biggest series in Japan, Dragon Quest, is already getting full remakes and entire new games, but SE is making no effort on trying to even push the games outside of Japan. Much like they let series such as Mana, Front Mission and etc go dry. There's little point in asking them to release a port of an old SNES title when they can't even handle what they already have on their plate.

SquareEnix is in no position to think of adding more to their agenda. If anything, they need to cut back on what they're already doing and put more into advertising.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

It's one of the big four that were never localized:  Terranigma, Rudra no Hihou, Seiken Densetsu 3, and Mystic Ark.

It's a good and fun game, but it's not amazing.  The story is okay and the spell system was kind of cool (despite having seen it done similarly in Magician).

Edit: I always forget SD3 for some reason despite recently replaying it for like the 5th time.

Makes you wonder though, if they stuck with it, and improved upon the sequels, Rudra IV could've been the series apex like many consider FF4 to be.

SD3's awesome also, but wasn't the difficulty a little annoying.  I remember it was always annoying to kill some enemies and then you get a class up and BOOM you're awesome again.

I still think this game was awesome.  It was like almost 3 games in 1......each game was like 15 hours long, anyone remember?  It's been ages since I played this.  Loved seeing your "other selves" during the game, and the last boss was something that I didn't anticipited.
