It's a sin to say something like that here, but Messi is just too good a player, that he deserves this one. A great player (unfortunately) just becomes a legendary player winning a world cup*! Too bad their team sucks nowadays!

If not them then, of course, Brazil... and then England, those poor guys - 44 years already!

*there are exceptions, but very very few of then: Puskas, DiStefano, Zico (here in Brazil - we have a saying that is something like this: Zico never won a world cup. Well, too bad for the world cup!), Cruyff... those are the only ones I could think.

well the world cup has never been played in africa befor so it is new to everyone

an african team won't win it though,

it will be brasil,argentina or one of the big european teams as it always is,

brasil no doubt are the best team in the world,but if the world cup was played in a northen european winter time every world cup,you can be sure they would not have won it as many times as they have,

people seem to forget the world cup is usually played in blistering heat and humidity,it's not exactly fair on the europeans yet one of them usually gets to the final

on englands record at the world cup,they always get out of their group and usually make the quarters,i never understand whats wrong with being one of the best 8 teams,we are only a little country compared to most who play more sports than any other country i can think of

countrys like italy,germany,brasil they only play football and have larger populations so as a result have more of their population playing football as opposed to rugby,cricket,rugby league,there you go,is that enough excuses
