Well Twilight Princess sold about 6m (between GC & Wii) which is still better than Halo ODST at about 4.5m but no where close to Halo 3 at 10m. Reach is the 4th Halo game this gen and Halo is suffering from being over-milked. Reach will likely fall somewhere between the sales of ODST and 3.

So if Nintendo makes a Zelda TP2 then it's reasonable sales might be close (Wii's base is substancially larger now than at launch) but I'd give Reach the edge.

However if Nintendo makes Zelda's more accessible and taps into it's expanded market (girls in particular) it could easily shoot into double digit millions and go places yet another Halo FPS simply cannot.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It took almost a month to reach 1 million downloads of the the GT5 time trial while Halo Wars was downloaded 2 million times in just 5 days. While the 1 million downloads was just from Europe, this is still the largest demographics for racing games and GT.

Not true, they built an entirely new engine for this game and even the grainy screenshots that we have so far look better than Halo 3. The art style will likely be similar, if a bit darker, but the graphics will be improved.

I'll I can say is REACH better come out at least a month b4 COD7 cause otherwise I'll opt for CODfirst, unless the halo coop camaign gets back to Halo 1 and twos quality standards.

Thats a big statement. So decoding that, what does that mean overall? What do they need to sell to be the biggest game of 2010? If we count both COD titles then they would need between 13M units *COD 6M 360 4.5M PS3 and 1.5M others* to 16M (COD 8M 360, 6.5M PS3 and 1.5M others) and thats assuming there isn't another title that sells more.

Its possible for them to sell 13M units, heck even 15M is within the realm of possibility but it would be quite a stretch to get that far. Halo: Reach would have to be the impact of Halo: CE to the gaming public to do that.
