EDIT: MEANT TO SAY TOP SELLING PC VIDEO GAMES.

Over on the PC, The Sims and World of Warcraft franchises accounted for six of the ten spots.

Twin behemoths Electronic Arts and Activision Blizzard almost tied up the whole shebang, but Sega's historical strategy hit Empire: Total War snagged tenth.

Although the video game retail sector ended the year with a record-breaking performance in December, the year's overall total fell 8% compared to 2008.

How did spore beat Empire Total war? This is a travesty.

Spore wins because they straight up Dupped a good deal of people (myself included).  I was so facinated by the concept that I did not even bother to look at anything about the game before I picked it up.  While I definitely enjoyed it (well the short amount of it atleast) I was pretty let down by the entire experience.

 

2010 should be absolute nuts for Act Blizzard in the PC market.

It's only retail. If they had included digital, Dragon Age would've been much higher in my opinion.

At lot of games would be - there's nothing by Valve in there, Borderlands would have been in it imo, no Sims/WoW, and so on.

lol, I bet you are putting "typos" in the thread titles to trick people into entering. 180lb in 5 months is beyond belief, then a quick edit back down to 2lb/week. Now, shocking top 10 games, then edit to PC




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

yeah, I think Borderlands would've cracked the top 10 if digital sales were included.

but what i got was  a G-movie with cartoon characters.. Damn casuals... lol
