RE and SH have lost their identity as horror games. SHSM on Wii wasn't horror but more of an adventure/action game.

RE has turned into rails and 3rd person shooters.

Bring back the days when they were true survival horror games.

Well hey you should be thankful that your precious silent hill doesn't suck ass anymore. Both of those series were never really good. SH2 maybe, but terrible controls used to create tension a good game does not make. Sure silent hill was atmospheric. But it was no fun to play.
