I think you are confusing Sega with Sonic. People hate Sonic because he stars in terrible games.

I don't hate them. I just don't think they were ever that great of a company. If the dreamcast was so good like everyone says then how come it only sold like 15 million units? It came out a year before the PS2 so it should have done well.

No one really hate Sega, they are just annoyed there is not good sonic game anymore, but Nintendo bought Sonic so SEGA is not longer responsible for the little blue guy anymore.
They are also pissed about how badly the ported Bayonetta. Other then that, SEGA is still a pretty damned good dev.

I just don't like em. From spewing out crappy Sonic games and ruining ports I still hate them. Also, they seem to kill their franchises in their prime. I'm waiting for a real Monkey Ball sequel. The main thing though is their attitude to Nintendo. How quickly they can hate Nintendo and then be their lapdog.

Obviously false since otherwise he wouldn't be appearing on the HD consoles at all; but considering how Mario and Sonic are doing, there are Sonic fans who wish that was true.
