Not to mention glasses are a perfect way to transmit diseases from person to person unless you constantly disinfect them.

I'm sure this factor in particular will put people off.

*rolls eyes*

Theaters have to completely disinfect the glasses after every use, so it is an issue.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Restaurants clean forks and hospitals clean everything so obviously they disinfect them, though most  cinema's i've been to they let you keep the glasses

God i hate fanboys, almost as much as they hate facts

@ Grimes )

that's not more of an issue than with a controller..

the most effective way for diseases to spread is over peoples hands, because people always grab themselves in the face (mouth/eyes/nose)

So basicly you're guys are saying that i could play 3d movies or games on my screen????

And if so what kind of glasses do i need for this tv?

As I read, if you have a 200Hz TV, possibly will do it.. please, the TV is HDMI 1.3 or 1.4?

Uhm i dont know, how do i found out?.

Hi Sephroth, this "Hz" is the "refresh rate", try looking the TV Specs, there´s a refresh rate... 8ms, 2ms, 4ms... tellme the number we convert for Hz.

I've seen tvs wich support 200 hz for about 1000 euros, by the time 3d comes they will be very affordable.

New info... the TV´s really need´s 1.4 HDMI coonection, so even the 200Hz TV´s that are on the market today isn´t compatible... OMG... need to wait, all Panasinic, Sony, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Philips ..3D tv´s will provide a sign for HDMI 1.4 and 3D capable...
OMG... there´s no one in the market today... PANASONIC is lauching one next month..
