This isn´t the point. The point is: SONY wants the BEST 3D Stereoscopic and decided to do with higher freq... just this.. |
i'm agree with kowenicki, if they do this, then it's just because they want us to buy new TVs....yeah, we also have a better 3D experience, but it'll cost money, even if we already bought a TV for that purpose.

I would absolutely despise having to wear glasses in any shape or form while playing games.

I need eyeglasses to see and even I can't stand wearing them. I don't even want to think about wearing two sets of glasses at the same time.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

I can see how that could cause problems...

People have a hard enough time locating their TV remotes at this time. I am curious how requiring people to wear glasses to watch TV is going to make something have mass appeal.
Yay my 60hz tv is confirmed for not 3D. Best purchase i've ever made.
Not to mention glasses are a perfect way to transmit diseases from person to person unless you constantly disinfect them.

Just to avoid any disappointments from you guys' part, note that even if Sony supports 120 Hz TVs, not all 120 Hz TVs will necessarily work.
It has to be a 120 Hz TV which accepts a 120 Hz input. Amazingly, most of them don't, they just generate fake frames in between the 60 Hz input signal. Look for the "3D prepared" sticker or similar...
