Post here the guitars you own, heck, post violins if you have some or drums, the solos you love, the guitarists you love, the guitars you wanna have, share tabs, your own youtube vids... Even business!!! Whatever.

If you love guitars may god/allah/buddha bless you and welcome to this thread.

This is the thread for Guitarism worshiping.

I wanna present yall my wonderfull Gibson Hound Dog Dobro. It's my only guitar by now:

Listen to a demo of what this wonder can do. Note there's no amplifiers in here, it's the natural sound of it(this is not me):

As for my favourite Guitarists, I can mention the all mighty metal artist and Nylon Shredder Yngwie Malmsteen.

Watch this classical nylon acoustic guitar impressive shredding (on a top notch Ovation Applause):

I wanna also mention the Japanese Myiavi (male) he slams the guitar and the strings like hes having a seizure. But it is brilliant and one kind of an artist. Strumming hand is impossible to see. Really.

Check this unique guitar solo on a dreadnought acoustic:

I'll add some other videos as the thread grows up. Share your love for guitars with us.

I play Carvins.

If you are in the US, they are hands down the best guitar company you can order from.

Every electric (and acoustic/electric) is custom made to order. You can get almost anything imaginable on thier guitars. They are also cheaper than any custom shop, and play better than any similar competitor. Usually, you can get a guitar that'll cost half as much as a comparable Gibson/Fender/Ibanez/ect

Not quite mine. I'll post mine when I can get a decent camera.

The cool thing is that mine has an acoustic piezo system despite being a full-on electric. Very few guitars have that kind of versatilty - I get dual humbuckers with single coil taps + the piezo system for a range of tones that is second to none.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Old photo, but I still have them all:

L-R: Epiphone Explorer, Hondo ES335 Dot replica, Crafter FX-550, Squier P-Bass

I love the semi acoustic for it's tone and versatility (just the right volume for practising unplugged).

@ mrstickball

WOW, there's a fine guitar you have over there. Custom made.

care to say how much did it cost????

@ Ganc

I love your blue acoustic one!
If you don't have, spend some 30$ on Martin Heavy Gauge Bluegrass or Deltablues strings you can get a sound out of your guitar that you don't imagine. It's a huge difference, and if you are a blues country and slide guitar lover like me you won't regret.

I want you guys to see the finest art from a Portuguese Luthier, it is a guitar made exclusively for a portuguese alternative rock band called Blasted Mechanism and it is an eletric, semi-acoustic and harp guitar all in one:

The one in the pic isn't mine - I'm probably going to get a similar one in the future. Unfortunately, that line can't come with a piezo system.

However, I priced that model out when I was buying mine. Its about $1600 as-seen. About $700 less than a comparable PRS....Plays better, too.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I own one of these. Second hand. Haven't yet moved up to Electric guitar as I am still learning. Only been at it for 3 months.

There's only so many times I can play "Love is all around" and "Greensleeves" whilst resisting the urge to smash the guitar over the nearest object.

I use a carvin amp.  It's a carvin legacy.  I guess it's steve vai's signature amp, but i don't really listen to steve vai much.

The main guitar i've been using lately is an 80's japanese strat I found on craigslist for 300.  It's one of the magical strats, it plays like a dream.  I also have a hollowbody epiphone joe pass emperor II I use a lot.

I scored a Nord Electro 2 keyboard a couple months ago at a good price too.  If theres any keyboard players in here.  God I love that thing.

Here's a video from my band's last show Check out more (bigger) videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/icemanout

If your guitar is what I am thinking about (Miyavi from the video on the OP also has one) it would kill your hears from awesomeness if you have some couple of hundreds bucks to do this to your freatboard:

Maybe in 15 years this will be standart for all fretboards, for now it is a dream for many guys...
