He comes from a mid-level investment banking and research shop.  Not as high as Goldman Sachs, but definitely a well-known and reputable firm. 

He also has a lot of executive contacts with the big 3, so his statements aren't exactly just made up.

Don't bother replying or quoting me if you cannot be bothered to read my posts, it quite clearly states US in my post.  A new model relaunch, huge price cut and several AAA titles released in the last year and its still not outselling the 360 in the US.  With the brand strength the Playstation family has, thats crap.

I know, I think he just guesses randomly to hope that he's right. I'd hate to be in his investing banking, I would have lost alot of money.....

One only has to look at the latest NPD to know that what Pachter is saying might actually have some truth to it. I've never seen so much blue.

i believe im better than patcher at foreseeing things

i dont see ps3 cutting its price this year also dont see 360 cutting there price march or april maybe just in EU price cuts do more damage wen done late in the year

also the new sku 250gb isnt already out?
