Hey guys! As you may all know, Mass Effect 2 is coming very very soon and it's one of my most anticipated games of the generation. With that said, I feel like I didn't really invest time to find out what bonus materials are going to be available for Mass Effect 2 like extra costumes and weapons, art books, etc.

So, I think there's a Collector's Edition that you can only get by preordering the game, and it comes with many bonus stuff. I already got that one covered, but I believe there is more bonus material distributed across EA games. I know my friend bought the Collector's Edition for Dragon Age: Origins and he got some kind of code for an extra armor in ME2. Is it a different armor than the one in the Collector's Edition for ME2? Can I just buy the regular edition of Dragon Age: Origins and still get the code?

Also, I think that if you preorder at GameStop only you'll get an extra armor, but this I'm not too sure. My friend said he preordered the game at FutureShop and they told him that he would get something else with the game... but I wonder how they got the codes if GameStop says it's a GameStop thing. I guess I'll have to cancel my preorder at FutureShop and preorder the game at GameStop?

If there's anything else, PLEASE let me know. I'm just hyping the game a little bit more before the release, hehe!

I think you can purchase the Blood Dragon Armor separately without buying the deluxe edition.

I'm with dobby on this, the Blood Dragon Armor that you got in Dragon Age for pre-ordering, transfers to Mass Effect 2, but I think you can purchase it separately.

Edit:  There is a pre-order bonus from game stop - terminus armor and a heavy weapon (here).

OK, I preordered the game at EB Games (GameStop here in Canada) for the Terminus Armor and stuff, plus I preordered the game at Toys'R'Us for the Infernus Armor. Whichever gets the Collector's Edition gets my money! I'll try to buy the other's code if they let me.

Just need to buy Dragon Age: Origins now!

The game stop deal is the best one. You get both a new gun as well as armor.

Yes, it can be purchased from digital distribution stores like Steam, D2D, and so on.

And I'm willing to bet that these bonus items will be made available as paid DLC at a later date.

I doubt it. I know EA is not Bungie/Microsoft, but the Flame Warthog and that other gold Wraith from Halo Wars and many more bonus DLC stuff like Sergeant Johnson for ODST are still not available for download.

I mean, I wouldn't mind that everyone gets the chance to have the special armors and weapons, but let's just say I worked a little bit hard for them.
