hello everyone, im looking for the newest but the longest game. Im quite a heavy gamer. and im looking for something that will last me more than a week thats not an MMO cause ive had my past troubles with world of warcraft. so im looking for the longest game for ps3? i tried dragon age origins ... took me 2 days, assasins creed 2 , also got CoD mw2 for pc. so what games would take me ages to beat? im thinking of getting Avatar but i dont want it to be a 1 day game also Mass effect 2 is looking pretty good jst looking for some opinions for games that will take me more than a day to beat.

Well, you could get Demon's Souls, if your goal was to Platinum it, since you'll need to have four playthroughs and some massive grinding sections, which can boost your total playtime to +100 Hours.

You could also wait for WKC (White Knights Chronicles), that game will have a +150 Hours playthrough if you want to do all sidequests and online missions as well

Final Fantasy XIII, releasing in March 9, from previews and online forum-goers have said that it needs over 120 Hours to complete everything in the game.

hehe, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection has several 50h+ games, but maybe that's not what you are looking for

Dragon Age took you two days? Did you skip the dialog and sidequests?

W00t? dragon age took you only two days? :S... I could easily count 70-80hrs of gameplay... and that was rushing it...

LOL demon's souls is quite long you should try that.
