So i was playing UC2 (Good game) and i noticed that they managed to pull off the hole fixed camera thing in the beginning, like the old RE games used to do.

Now i know Nathan Drake doesnt walk like a Tank like RE characters used to do but who cares, capcom needs to make a HD remake of the series, keep the fixed camera angle and switch to over the shoulder when aiming.

 

This would be awesome, HD graphics, awesome story and fixed gunplay would make Hell of a game IMO and it would bring back the old "Hardcore" Resident Evil fans.

 

 

That ^ above is RE0 for Gamecube, this could Easily be passed off as an HD game. Now think if it was really an HD game? Capcom RE HD remakes NOW!!!

 

What do you guys think?

There are already too many re-releases of previous RE games this gen I think. Resident Evil 4 got ported for the Wii with new widescreen option, and then Resident Evil Archives (with nothing new added... kind of a bad value IMO).

Still, what they could do is re-release the old RE games with updated visuals, but for Xbox Live Arcade and PSN. The remake of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 are probably not going to be re-released too soon.

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

No... wat would HD remake accomplish that pleasing graphic whores? they were remade already

Not RE2 and RE3 if I recall correctly. RE1 yes.

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

For people who havn't played the old ones i can see why they're saying no but i think they do need to be remade with better controls allah uncharted like you said.

thanks for correcting me Guru... but my main point still stands... I hate when ppl say _________ should be remade just to be in HD... inless its remake serves a greater purpose...leave it alone, let classics be classic remaking a game just to be in HD with no other purpose is a waste of time that could used for a sequel. Plus the RE reboot for PSP is coming wait for that

Why not take a awesome old game and make it even more awesome by updating it with todays standards.

 

There doing it with just about every other game.

Yeah, I agree. Bionic Commando Rearmed was a really good remake that introduced a whole new level, new health mechanics, new upgrades and awesome remixes of old themes... but sometimes, when you try to change too much stuff, you get remakes like Turtles in Times Re-Shelled!!

I believe Capcom wouldn't screw it up though, I mean look at the Resident Evil "remake" on GCN.

because only graphic whores think adding HD makes it more awesome... I mean these games were made on PS1, do you kno the work that would have to go into remaking them for HD consoles?... it would basically be making 3 brand new games... so why just not make 3 sequels
