Y'all can't be serious.

I didn't knew so many people disliked Spider-Man 3. Everybody around me like it!

I like the first one and the second was very good, but I didn't like Spider-man 3 for some reason. Maybe it's because it was filled with too much drama, and Eddie isn't skinny as the movie portrayed him. Of course this is coming from a guy who read the comics and watched those Spider-Man cartoons back in the 90s.

I would love to see the Kingpin in the next movie or Carnage.

The license to Kingpin's character is still owned by 20th Century Fox......I think.

@Xxain, I think you're right, he may have been talking about Carnage. Fugly and Carnage just didn't correlate to me.

This is too bad. Good comics movies are the *exception*, not the rule. Taking Sam Raimi out isn't likely to help make the next one good. Odds are it'll just be another crapfest that comics fans try to forget.

And for those who don't know, the inclusion of Venom in 3--having too many villians & whatnot--was at the studio's insistence, over Sam Raimi's objections. The same studio in charge of this "reboot," 'cause yeah, what we really need is to see Peter Parker bitten by a spider AGAIN.

You sound like alex from "He's Just Not That Into You", and you're absolutely correct

Good point. Sam mentioned the studio's interference in the 3rd film often, and I'm thinking their plans for the 4th were what caused to him to say "Fuck it" and just walk out. If the "reboot" movie is called Spider-Man: Evolution, I'll know not to go see it.

Hated all three of the spiderman movies. So weep I will not.

I say give the franchise a break until Iron Man and Batman have finished their runs. No one gave a shit about Spider Man 4 anyway.
