I can just honestly say I'm glad to own an Xbox 360 for cases like this.

nope, never played a yakuza game...ever..

but i did play Valkyria Chronicles and it was an excellent game. Too bad I never got to finish it as I had to sell my 2nd PS3 (i'm on my third ps3 :P)and games due to some financial issues.

ok, so i'll put it this way. SEGA makes crapy PS3 games most of the time whenever the game is multiplat. They probably always use the 360 as the lead then just port to the PS3.  

Yea, especially now that they messed up pretty bad with Bayonetta kind of soils their name.  Sadly most devs use the 360 as the lead and port to the PS3. 

Well hopefully when you're out of your financial issues you'll pick up VC again,  always nice to keep games you enjoy.  And if later on, the Yakuza games interest you, maybe you'd pick one up too =)

You are obviously a big fan of the old clover studios so I can understand you wanting to protect this broken piece of junk, but please stop outright lying to people. No dont buy this game its broken and you should not support this because it is not gonna stop SEGA and platinum from doing it again, also for all those of you who dont know this mess is pretty much normal for SEGA on PS3 examples: Vikings, sonic 2006, Sonic unleashed, virtual tennis, virtual fighter...etc.

Actually game play does suffer on the PS3, honestly if you play the 360 version you will understand just how messed up the PS3 version is.

the only difference I can really see while the game is going on in front of me is the constant "loading" text, it gets so chaotic that a lot of the times you don't really notice much other than that.

Your opinion is of course your own if you cant see a difference then good on you, others though may have a different experience. I on the other hand have experienced both versions and it is clear that everyone should just consider Bayonetta an xbox 360 exclusive, Platinum games sure feels that way.

I do think the game looks better on the 360, I'm talking about the game play aspect, I haven't ran into issues going into witch time or perform combos due to the supposed FPS drop, and if you only have a PS3, you should still pick it up because it's still a pretty good game, the overall package is of course not as good as the 360 version, that was clear since the JP release and everybody should pick up the 360 version if they have both HD consoles, that's a no brainer, but the PS3 version is definitely not a piece of shit by any means lol.

i really dont care. im getting this game as soon as possible.
