lol nice analogy, so true its childish.  Funny fact is although Dragon Age is better on PS3, Dragon Age sold like +500k more on 360 than on PS3.  Wouldnt be surprised if the same happens with Darksiders.  This just tells me that 360 owners are smarter to not pass up on a good game just cause they have the more "inferior" version.

Your example isn't a good comparaison. The difference between Dragon Age Origins PS3 VS X360 a just insignifiant. Eurogamers even said that the versions are equal. Bayonetta X360 run at 60 FPS, the PS3 version 30 FPS, and I wil not speak about the texture and light effect rendering...

If X360 players are more interested by Dragons Age than the PS3 owner, it can be due the lack of new games provided to their console... Just compare the number of good game edited on PS3 during the last 6 months and you will understand why Dragon Age Origins doesn't appear has a first choice for PS3 gamers.

In the case of Bayonetta, the PS3 port is really a crap compared to the lead one ! And you cannot blam player that prefere to wait and buy it cheaper, just because they do not want to encourage this kind of nonsense (crapy port) ! And to finish with your bad example, despite is inferiority, the PS3 version has currently sold more than twice the X360 version. You can see now how your argument about the "smart' of the X360 players is absurd !

Eurogamers is 360 bias so meh

like V-rock said Forza3, L4D, and Halo ODST says hi

sooo....Bayonetta on PS3 has sold more than twice the x360 version?..in Japan i presume? if yes, then that should't be a surprise should it as there are like 1+m 360s vs 4+m ps3s in japan

Well personally, I played the demo on the PS3, hated every second of it, not because of the technical issues, but because of the game itself, it was just outright retarded in my opinion, and felt like a DMC Parody or something...

But anyways, aside from that, I'm sure I read somewhere that Sony would be stepping in and improving the PS3 port of the game, or something like that? So if they DO (Although it seems a little late now), then there won't be as many people crying about it being "inferior" right?

Im going to take it this post is towards me from my post?  Well i never posted an example so maybe its not towards me?  You say the 360 lacked new games in the last 6 months?  I guess (exclusives) Forza 3, L4D2, Halo ODST were nothing.

And what PS3 version sold twice more than the 360 version? Bayonetta? I havent seen any numbers so please link me.

My "argument about the smart of 360" was just a fun joke yet could have a little truth behind it =D.  However jokingly in my head to make up the difference in Dragon Age sales of both versions, the other PS3 owners that didnt want Dragon Age went and bought Demon's Souls instead lol

Hi !

I have just used this excellent website to compare the both version sold score, here the link : http://vgchartz.com/swlaunch.php?reg1=All&game1=&reg2=All&game2=Bayonetta+-+PS3[25465]&reg3=All&game3=Bayonetta+-+X360[25464]&weeks=100

I think really that your argument was a simple joke, but sometime and it can be misperceived. And over the top, this kind of talk doesn't deserve a debat...

Maybe I'm just being childish, but the developers have made it clear they are not interested in selling the game to me, a PS3 owner. I don't care about their game because they didn't seem to care about the market I am in. However, if they manage to patch the game to fix the loading, I may consider buying the game after it becomes cheaper.

The X360 exclusive that you mentionne fail to charm me. Forza 3 doesn't do much than the old GT5 prologue, L4D2 is a bad port and is more enjoyable on PC, Halo ODST is just another "Halo", but a lesser version... Here is my opinion, don't blame me !!!  If I was a X360 player, I would also bought Dragon Age Origins in place of this exclusive.

You right, the PS3 highter sold score of Bayonetta is due of the few numbers of X360 sold in Japan. But I support my example by analyzing the sales curve of Bayonetta available in U.S. and EU, for a week. And this curve does not seem to be much more favorable for the X360 version. Probably because the competition is present in this January (ex. Darksiders), but perhaps also because Bayonetta addresses a very specific audience (hardcore gamers) who is also very fond of pirated version...

Just wait and see if the balance will be different in the next few weeks.

I agree totally with your opinion !

Maybe not buying the game for a platform it is inferior on is a good way of telling the publishers that if they want people to buy their games, they should make it worth it. Else, people won't buy their games?

I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

I don't have a 360 or a PS3, so my opinion is probably meaningless in this thread. But these guys made Viewtiful Joe, Okami, God Hand, and MadWorld. I love them. So please, just give them all your money as a favor to me. Buy as many copies as you can afford.

if not like the game it's unplayeable.

Edit: Good job mangling my post, vgchartz.

I'm pretty sure the original developers weren't the ones who ported the game. Also you should be aware that death march projects are not uncommon and have nothing to do with the company not wanting you to have a good experience with the product.

I care, the title went to a PS3 preorder to a wait tell it is cheaper used 360 title for me.

Uh, so wait. You were going to preorder this game for the PS3, but because the 360 version is better, you won't buy the 360 version until it is cheap? How does that make any sense? Or is this some kind of dorky attempt to reward Sony and punish Microsoft?
