Great i can't wait till i can get it.

I have Mass Effect and I have yet to play it. I been meaning to play it for awhile now but got distracted by Bayonetta/Darksiders/Gears 1 and 2.

really? I do agree that what they say during the review is decent at best. and you get a good feel of the game when you watch it. but their scoring and their conclusions are always so easy to predict. it's like you know the score before you even watch the review. and also the rumors about Shane changing the opinions of reviewers before they get uploaded, etc just makes their whole review system based on that idiot Shane. also, they tend to include MAJOR spoilers in their reviews, like that backstabbing friend in Uncharted 2. their reviews are often really poor.

nah, not really. I just find it funny.. and it kind of shows that they are not "trustworthy" when they say something like that and go back on it later. I don't give a crap. i did put lololololloll at the end, so no tyraiding here ^^

BUT, this is a thread for Mass Effect 2 reviews, so sorry for the derailing!!

i dont think any review can stop me from getting ME2. I enjoyed ME1 and will be picking up ME2 day 1.

If people are so convinced the game doesn't deserve the rating it got then how about you put a prediction up of the final metacritic score. It matters little to me as I generally make a judgement call from reading IGN and GamesTM's reviews. I never watch video reviews if I can help it as its too easy for some fool to put a spoiler in.

I can't believe you are shallow enough to judge a game based entirely on professional reviews and calling the downgrade because of a difference of 0.5 in the review score. Have you even played the first Mass Effect?
