i wouldn't be surprised if all the 360s came with natal (after release)
it would be marketed as better wii to sell to casual crowd and also gamers.

Oh the poor PC gamers and or developers who make cross-platform titles. In 3 years comparing a PC game to a PS3 game will be like comparing Game Cube to N64.
A cross platform title, say PC and 360 will result in: Either PC getting a game with crappy graphics compared to what is capable on the machine or the developer basically having to make each game from the ground up for each platform.

I was thinking more like an early launch of their next-gen console. They could have some alternate, less powerful specs planned in case they need to launch earlier.
My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957
But then Gears of War 3, which isn't being released till next gen http://www.mcvuk.com/news/35918/Next-Gears-Of-War-on-next-gen-consoles
won't be coming till 2015? that doesn't sound right

I don't know how often we need to say that this was a misunderstanding. Just like MS would charge for every DVD a games uses.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
One thing I wonder which I don’t have an answer for yet relates to how successful Natal will be is "Why is Wii Fit an order of magnitude more popular than games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band; and how do games like Wii Sports and Wii Fit get people to buy an expensive system when so many other games don’t (seem to) have that ability"
The reason this is such a vital question in my mind is that for Natal to act as a successor to the XBox 360 it needs to see a very high attach rate for existing consumers (at a level beyond any 360 game I can think of) and also encourage people who don’t own an XBox 360 to buy one with Natal just to play it; the only game I can think of that fits this pattern is Wii Fit. What is it about Wii Fit made it such an essential purchase that so many other games (like Rock Band) didn’t have?
I hate to be blunt, but I don't think many people would consider Natal particularly successful if it sees the sales of Rock Band, so I have to wonder what Microsoft will deliver that makes it an essential purchase.
