im sorry i laughed my ass of at the stupidity of this comment, your trained to believe that gamestop is evil becuase it hasa high profit ratio on used games or becuase it opens their display games for sale. what u dont realize is that any retailer regardless of industry only cares about profits, you think walmart is lgood store, how about the conditions they put their workers in china in? every retailer is "sucks" according to the internet definitions, best buy amazon and toys r us are all getting into the used game market, gamestop just gets flack cause its the biggest.  educate yourself before making posts like this.

it makes sense... he is saying a lot of kids play the wii and when it is christmas time parents and aunts go out to buy wii games and they are most likely to go into sears or walmart rather than gamestop. While most HD console owners are a bit older and are more into pre ordering and such and visit gamestop more often. With the walmart deals they just locked in those customers and at the same time attract the HD console audience as well and hurt gamestop basically.

I hate gamestop but the Wii isin't even HD so how could it sell HD games?

 He's paid to predict revenue streams for video game companies, and I can't find a link to where it was said, but in all his career he's finished in the top 10 every year for the Washington times whatever it is more accurate predicting people, topping it 2 years. It was in some interview I can't find now. Those are the important predictions, cause they keep him in a job.

Either there's a disconnect between those predictions and the ones he gives to the media, or those are very short-term predictions which don't depend on his skills to predict what will happen in the console market...
