Forums - Nintendo Discussion - More Capcom PR: More Quality Less quantity for the Wii LOL at Sega

Every company that makes a new game for Wii always ends up saying it sold bad way to soon. For example right now they are upset with R.E.T.D.C sales but give it some time and it will reach good sales of at least 1 Million!

I think that Capcom should make a non #ed Resident Evil for Wii a game like Code Veronica and I bet it would do very well and be its best Wii seller.

No one in Capcom of France makes any diccisions on what goes on what system.  NUFF SAID!!!  Capcom profit margin is going to be down when they post earnings, GURANTEE!!  None of Capcom HD or Wii games sold enought to post a profit!!!  Sorry RE5 and SF4 didnt make enough to cover the other drivel Capcom put out (Bionic Commando, Spyborgs) or any other Capcom game i didnt play/purchase.  This Gen Capcom is to laxed and trying to rely on Past successes but the (WOW I havent played this before factor) is missing.    Capcom, Get of your asses and start me a (New IP have to purchase) inovating and different like when Ps1 had Resident Evil, PS2 had Devil May Cry,  PS3/Xbox360/Wii have ??? Now you know where you stand.   French dudes, Shut the F*ck up!!!

smash bros vs capcom would be a winner if nintendo ever allowed it,. its been suggested for years, and nario vs sonic proved it sells, so part of me suspects theyve already out it to nintedo and for some reason its a no go.

its guaranteed money, reputation and respect for capcom, creating an IP that would guarantee sequels that would make money each rendition, improve their portfolio substantially and increase their stock market value substantially also.

there must be a reason why they havent brought it to bear.

I think Re5 and SF4 lead to Capcom having record figure for their quarter and fiscal year?

As for new Ip's they've got/had Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Dark Void, Zack & Wiki and probs some more I forgot >_>.

But er yeah, their earnings this year will be down, because they didn't release any big games for the fiscal year.

he does have a point, if mario where to be a capcom fighting game, its sales would increase tenthfold.

Or Link.   Remember Soul Calibur 4?

great example - soul calibur 2 sold better on the cube than the xbox, and despite the ps2 userbase sold anly 200k less than the ps2 version.

incidentally it may also be my favourite straight beatemup of all time

I'm guessing Nintendo are very protective of their propeorties - sure enough they let Mario and Link appear in the odd cameo, but I'm not sure they'd be up for letting all their big sellers appear in someone elses game. I'm guessing they're worried that'd be stepping a bit to close to Smash Bro's toes, with not much to gain for themselves?

It'd be awesome though. The possibilites are endless though, Capcom vs Square Enix would rock.

The end of rail-shooters????

hell yes??????????????????

good reasoning - i guess it would be direct competition to smash bros, though to me, smash is unique...its a brawler not a beatemup...health bars, tag teams, down - downright - right punch "HADOKEN!!!!"....its not the same kettle of fish

lol.

tbh, most game industry "professionals" and executives would have been sacked a long time ago in my company with the rubbish that spouts from their lips and how they criticise their customers openly.

a very unique industry!
