Never said it was the best looking. Alan Wake has that crown imo. Heavy Rain also. But this is right up there with those. IF it was a PS exclusive made by a Sony dev many more on this site would say that to. And you know it. It's fact that many PS fans said it when the game was a PS exclusive even after the KZ2 footage was released. Now we have better newer footage theres alot of meh. Ok maybe some guys here on this forum have never said it was amazing. Or weren't like all the guys on Youtube or Gametrailers. But it looks fantastic. And Medal Of Honour doesn't even look as good as Brothers in Arms Hells Highway. Metro 2033's Engine has stuff only found in CryEngine 3 and Alan Wake. Possibly Heavy Rain, but I'd need to research that one. CGI Quality would be able to tell you. :)

The graphics aren't what's so spectacular about it, it's the animation. So fluid!

I'll wait to play the game before judging it. It looks very nice based on those videos though.

Pissing matches over graphics are pointless. I'd much rather play Gears 2 than Killzone 2, as I found the latter to be extremely average in terms of gameplay. When a game has great graphics and gameplay (Uncharted 2, for example) then fine, but waffling on about which unreleased game looks slightly more shiny is a pointless exercise IMO. I don't care if Heavy Rain looks better than Metro 2033 or vice versa, cos they're completely different genres and if they review well I'll buy them both anyway. A lot of this comes down to people either not being able to play a game cos they don't own the system, so they put it down to make themselves feel better, or plain old fanboyism.

Sigh.....ppl its Selnor and his buddies, anything thats not on ps3 is JAW dropping(remember lostplanet 2?) get used to it thats how their mind works.

Anyways this game is looking cool kinda reminds me of half-life and medal of honor.

Looking back through this thread was amusing, bit disappointed some of you guys fell hook line and sinker for the deliberate baiting though. As far as the game goes, it looks ok to me, really not interested further until we get closer to release and see definitive 360 footage. If the 360 version is crippled yet its still games for windows then I may pick it up cheaper on the PC.

REALLY? i mean, REALLY? what does Alan Wake that is only found in the CryEngine 3? better yet, WHAT THE HELL DOES METRO 2033 ENGINE THAT IS ONLY FOUND ON CRYENGINE3!?!?!

i would like to know because that seems pretty much bullshit to me. no offense.
