I chose to get Halo 2 on PC and Xbox Gears of War for Xbox 360 and PC Guitar Hero 3 on my cellphone and Xbox 360. Either way you slice it they are still different market demographics. There`s Computer exclusives(PC/MAC), Cell Phone exclusives(Verizon/AT&T), Handheld exclusives(PSP/DS) and Console exclusives(PS3/Wii/X360). I don't understand how that makes them different markets... cell phone games aren't avaliable anywhere else, and can only be played on cellphones, so they are their own market. But I don't see how that works with PC's

Felt like making this post just a lil longer, lol. Pc games play on windows( microsoft) xbox games play on, guess what another MICROSOFT product.....if it's on pc and xbox it is a exclusive for that reason.

@Banned : so if you play PC games on a Sony Vaio PC, I guess they're PS3 exclusives. Makes sense. /sarcasm

By the way, you can get banned on this site with this exclusive PC/360 multiplat thing, there was a post long ago by a mod explaining you weren't allowed to call them exclusives.

really, getting banned for your opinion on the subject of exclusives, that gets a wow. I think that would be a lil bias and kiddish to put that rule into effect. I don't doubt this site, opinions are watched and controlled on this site, hense the name.

if it's played on a sony vaio, The question I pose to you is what operating system is it using. Thats right, Windows. Doesn't matter who makes the computer it's the operating system.

Either way I rock all of them on my xbox, so it really doesn't matter.

Seriously. PC game = zero money for MS.

PC = 1 platform

360 = another platform

Sega Saturn = another platform

Iphone = another platform

You'd think it was that easy but when it comes time for teh best grafiks eva the PC is ignored and it's console only.

People pick and chose as they feel like it.
Either the PC gets included all the time by everyone (ps fans) or xboxs fans can pick and chose like when its included (console exclusive) like PS fans get to when it's teh best grafiks eva.
For the time being console exclusive is valid as it has been seperate to PC gaming for a long time. As decreed by PC gamers.

Apparently I am banned to have freedom of choice than right? If it is only on on of the three consoles whether it`s X360/Wii/PS3 (I don`t care which one it is) it is a CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE. Keyword there is console, notice I`m not including pc in that because it isn`t a console. It`s a simple concept really!

If you want to agree to disagree than that`s fine. It`s only PC gamers that really complain about this anyway. i`ll leave it at that cause I don`t feel like getting a ban for voicing my opinion. If you can`t have friendly disuputes in the forums what can we have? Freedom of speech goes a long ways.

Thing is nobody cares about "console exclusives" when they can play the best version of those games on their PC without owning a 360 which would be useless for them.

Since well, those games are not exclusives. Look, I'll play them on my PC and MS will get zero dollar, nada.

But yeah, let's create "Twin HD exclusives" category for 360/PS3 multiplats and "Motion sensor games exclusives" for Wii / Wand / Natal multiplats.

Those categories will be so cool and useful. I'm already salivating.

A game available on more than one platform can't be an exclusive. It's a fact, so it can't be debated. It's the definition of the word "exclusive" which says so.

Keep those made up definitions out of this thread.
