The game looks really interesting.
Graphically, it looks really good, but definitely not the best ever. It looks to be about on par with MW2 as far as graphics go.

Hint: Don't derail your own thread because you think the markets don't affect eachother. |
He`s right about them not effecting eachother. There are 4 gaming markets: cellphone gaming, portable gaming, console gaming and computer gaming. Each one has a different demographic and different taste.
How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...
Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

No, he's wrong. I have a console, I have a computer, I will not buy the same game on both, I will only buy a game on one of them. Therefore they affect eachother.

I have a friend who is such an achievement whore he happily buys the same games for PC and 360 to boost his gamerscore lol. In fairness he does at least keep it to good games!

Really? Getting achievements on the computer go towards your gamerscore? I didn't know that. Does it list the same game twice in the achievments list?

If the games are Games For Windows then yes they do count twice, in the case of GTAIV for example you have GTA IV listed on your tag and GTA IV PC. If I'm playing on my 360 and he is logged into GFW on his PC then I get the same status updates regarding what he is playing like I would if he was on the 360 too. Its all part of Microsoft plan for global domination lol.

They still compete against different markets. I chose to get Halo 2 on PC and Xbox Gears of War for Xbox 360 and PC Guitar Hero 3 on my cellphone and Xbox 360. Either way you slice it they are still different market demographics. There`s Computer exclusives(PC/MAC), Cell Phone exclusives(Verizon/AT&T), Handheld exclusives(PSP/DS) and Console exclusives(PS3/Wii/X360).

I don't understand how that makes them different markets... cell phone games aren't avaliable anywhere else, and can only be played on cellphones, so they are their own market. But I don't see how that works with PC's
PC is a market, like 360 or PS3 is a market. There's no difference. Sure demographics are different, so what ? PS3 and 360 have different demographics too, but you won't call a PS3 / 360 game an 'exclusive'.
Well, it's the same for PC / 360 games, they're not 'exclusives' since they're available on 2 platforms.
If I have a PS3 / PC combo and decides to buy Mass Effect on PC because it's the best version, well guess what ? It makes one less sale on 360. Same thing when I buy a multiplatform game on my PS3.
MS earns money on 360 software sales, but it earns nothing when I buy a new PC game, or when I buy a PS3 game.
MS needs PC games to sell Windows though, so they can't kill completely the PC market. Hence the PC / 360 multiplatform games.
