I dont really bother with fighteres any more cos like a few of you have said they havent really been offering anything new as far as game play is concerned. Its nice to update each generation from a graphical point of view though :) no game colection is complete with out a fighter

Not certain what Soul Calibur has to do with the topi at hand, but whatever. If it keeps going the way it is with SC4 I would have a hard time disagreeing with you.

A third of the game in the franchise are games that are, quite literally, nothing but an excuse to have girls with large breasts bounce around in a skimpy outfit. They gutted the counter system with 3, and have never looked back. This killed one of the most mechanics in the game, and rippled the "rock paper scissors" idea that it was originally based on.
