Yea I don't think this will hurt sales of the title. Although, it might lessen a little bit of the mainstream sales, as they'll be buying the next call of duty and Halo: Reach over this, core gamers will most likely pick up both similarly to Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2.

Well releasing in the holiday season isn't an automatic win.  I mean there is 2 main different release times.  January-October is normal release time.  Fewer releases and gives your title the ability to be the "big release" on its respective week.  Down side is less people in the stores on the mainstream side of things due to it being normal months.  then there is the holiday time from October through December.  The up side is of course more people in stores and more mainstream attention.  Risky side is their are more releases, and more importantly, more big releases. 

So when you release has it's positives and negatives and ultimately the company has to decide that.  I mean if it was a given to release in the weeks before the holiday season,  then there would be no year round releases.  Luckily that isn't the case or it would be a boring time of year haha.

But nice take it on Nov 16... that's my brithday.  But yea Fable 3 seems like September or October and potentially MS shooting for a November release with Halo: Reach.  Nice release setup. 

That would be very bad, there is absolutely no hype, it would hurt the sales very badly if they pushed it out so early.

I want to see the game but I don't want it rushed.

If Fable 3 comes before reach that means Natal by atleast August right?

Well from what I remember in the United States Fable 2 came out in October 2008 and Halo 3 came out in September 2007 but Halo 1 and 2 came out in November when they were released.

I think that Fable 3 is going to be released in late September or early October and then Halo Reach is going to be released in mid to late November.

Edit)  Ok they are saying this holiday for fable 3 so I guess that means late October to mid November and then Halo Reach will be released in late November or early December.

i dont care which comes out first , coz ill be buying both , i just want reach to come out on september 24th like they originally said coz thats my birthday and that would be sweet

If Fable 3 is before Reach then the Xbox 360 relaunch with the slimline will probably come within 2 months of E3 2010. This makes sense actually, especially if Fable 3 is a Natal launch title.

Man I want my Halo in September not during the Holidays. That is such crap.
